Hello. l need help with a card l am making for my friends on photoshop cs.......l want to crop an image with the elliptical marquee tool so it is trimed like an oval shape but l am getting this message: No pixels are 50% selected, .....what should l do to solve this problem? Thanks......

You must be on another layer, check it. Next advise why don't you use morphing tool, you will be able to do as per imagination. Morph button is their lower down in tools pallette.

As noted by "drarunkrsinha", you may be on the wrong layer. Make sure you're on the layer with the image.
Another possiblity is that the feather amount for the selection tool is set too high.
