Anyone decent with photoshop? (easy ten points!)?

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to photoshop my picture a little. =)

Just change the eye color, kinda play around with the lighting. Idk, make it look good. Just easy stuff though.

If you do, i'll give you the ten points!

thank you so much. =)

Well this is my favourite one. You're not as much in profile, but you are looking at the camera, which is better.

Got rid of the light overhead, made the skin glow, but lost the flash glare, smoothed the nose and the jaw line, brightened the eyes but enlarged and darkened the pupils, darkened the lips but added a bit more refinement to the upper lip.

But it is the case of less is more. I like to keep it looking real and not plasticy.

Is a downloadable photoshop untrustworthy?

Well, I found a website that allowed me download photoshop 7.0 and I did download it but I'm scared of using it cuz I'm afraid there'll be a Trojan Horse or some other viral nonsense on it. Should I trust it? I mean... it WAS free AND downloadable.

Although it is illegal, not are sites are untrustworthy.

Is a downloadable photoshop untrustworthy?computer repair

Unless it's the trial version from Adobe.com, it's illegal to download Photoshop. I would say -- don't open it.
that all depends on where you got it from. there are a lot of cracked versions floating around on the internet that all work well.

but it is also highly likely that if you found it on accident or from a site with a lot of adds or links to other similar programs that it could be shady. i would scan it with avg antivirus or something first before you extract it (assuming its in some type of zip/rar format)

Problems with loading Photoshop Elements.?

After a successful downloaded trial of Photoshop Elements, I decided to buy

the product. I fully uninstalled the trial version and loaded the new

version from the CD. However, I can't get it to run - I get a series of

messages such as " could not load the fastcore routines module because the

file could not be found".

Any advice?

Problems with loading Photoshop Elements.?antivirus scan

try to uninstall and reinstall. Also, if you have a partitioned hard disk, install it on the secondary disk. Helps in performance

Problems with loading Photoshop Elements.?computer security

if above does not work put the trial back on and use your trial number then install the full version over the top and replace the number with the new one

failing that unzip the download then install from the unzipped folder this way it will find all the bits it wants

What makes Adobe Photoshop so special?

What makes Photoshop so special that it has to cost around $500+? Can i still make decent art without having to fork over that much for this program?

What makes Adobe Photoshop so special?antivirus software

To be viewed by all browsers, a graphic has to be in either the .jpg or .gif format. Almost any graphics program can save in this format.

Photoshop has a dazzling array of abilities that no other graphics program I am aware of has. If you are planning on doing professional level graphics, Photoshop is the only way to go.

OTOH if you simply need to create good graphics for the web, Paint Shop Pro can do some really good stuff. It doesn't come cheap either, but you might want to check it out and perhaps download a free trial version at http://www.download.com/3000-2192_4-1058...

If you need a completely free program, you can try the Gimp at http://www.gimp.org/ and/or Paint.net at

http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html

You can download a trial version of Photoshop at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ The latest version is Photoshop CS3.

What makes Adobe Photoshop so special?computer virus

because it is big and it has more options for editing photos
Paint Shop Pro can still make decent blends, maybe some extra work is needed but it only costs about $100
I think it's the ability to be viewed by all browsers.

Can anyone confirm that photoshop elements is a good cheap student software alternative to photoshop

for study purposes is photoshop elements good enough as oppose to having to fork out hundreds for photoshop itself, whilst learning digital imaging. Answers gratefully received

Well, I use the old Photoshop Elements 2.0 and would not change it for Photoshop - but if I was a professional photographer?

Have a look at the free Gimp:

I would have to say that you are better off going with Photoshop. Firstly because the student version is much less than the retail version, and it's worth buying it while you can get that discount.

Secondly, Elements is about %20 the program of full blown Photoshop. It has %20 the options, abilities, and if that is all you learn on, you will be stuck with %20 of the skills.

You need to take advantage of being is school to learn as much as you can about the FULL version of Photoshop, if you ever plan on putting it on your resume. Mostly because it is a program that is re-released about once every one and a half to two years, and if you aren't familiar with the program as a whole, learning the new items can be much harder. And jobs will expect you to be able to keep up with all of the new abilities.

If you want to put your name on pics you can just write it out with a brush, type it in as text, or you could make yourself a watermark.

Here's a great watermark tutorial:

There are also many other ways to put your name on a picture, you can search for some here:

Buy photoshop and install in your computer. You will get photoshop teaching books and learn it easly. there are many short keys to make it easier. I shall send the short key chart to you by request to sajipalluruthy@yahoo.com. But practice is the only way to make it more easier.
Open the image in photoshop. Select the "T" text tool on the bottom left. Click on the left colour square and select the colour you want. Up on the top left, select your font and your font size.

Click on your image where you want the writing to go,and type away.

You can also resize it via edit then transform, then scale.

You can emboss it or add a drop shadow by going to layer, then layer style.

When you save it, you should save it as a jpg unless you are going to want to fiddle with it more later. It will try to save as a psd. but they are huge files, especially if you are emailing them.
I'm sorry to say that there are college level courses that last from one semester to years to answer this question. I know you didn't know that, but there's a lot more to it than a magic button called a photoshop.

Missing buttons in photoshop?

I use photoshop cs2 and I was playing around with it and I lost the buttons on the left side of the screen that contain the clone, clone stamp, erase, dodge/burn buttons, etc....does anyone know how I can get that back? I've been searching and I cannot find it! Thanks for all your help!

go to Window%26gt; Then click on Tools That should show the toolbar. If you lost a lot of toolbars go to

Hope this helps.

Go to tools in the menu bar, or go to tools in the upper right hand side of software box... somewhere, you need to click on "Show Tools" or "Show Toolbox" I don't have Photoshop at home, so it's only from memory....

Go to "Window" and click on "Tools"

Have you tried shutting the software down, and reopening it up? Maybe that'll do the trick?
