I want to download it or buy the software for Adobe Photoshop but I heard it is only for Mac users. Is this true?

As long as you buy the Windows version of the software. You can look at the various products at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/... and also download trial versions.

If you're not a professional photographer or graphic artist then I suggest you look at Photoshop Elements. It's a lightweight version that's friendlier and easier to use. Plus it's less than $100.00.

You might also check out some free open source alternatives.

Gimp - http://www.gimp.org/windows/ - is the most complex and the closest to Photoshop itself. If you download it and find it confusing, then Photoshop will probably be too complex for you.
